Chinese third-culture artist Cacien returns with her third studio album, FLAVORS, a genre-blending project that transforms taste into a language for emotion. Through the five flavors—sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, and lingering sweetness—the album explores identity, relationships, loss, healing, and the many contradictions that shape who we become.

Known for her playful alter ego Garlica Princess and her fearless approach to genre, Cacien takes a more introspective turn on FLAVORS. While her previous releases often captured emotions in the moment, this album looks beneath them, asking not only what we feel, but why we feel the way we do.


Rooted in her experience growing up in China and navigating life between cultures, FLAVORS reflects Cacien's distinctive perspective as a third-culture artist. About Cacien: Also known as Garlica Princess, is a Chinese third-culture artist whose work explores identity, memory, and emotion through the language of sound, taste, and visual storytelling. Born into a Teochew family and raised between different cultures, Cacien’s music reflects the experience of growing up between worlds — constantly questioning where she belongs while embracing the contradictions that shape who she is.

Moving fluidly between pop, hip-hop, R&B, and experimental sounds, Cacien uses music as a way to document the different versions of herself. Beyond sound, her visual identity serves as another creative language, where fashion, color, and character-building become extensions of her storytelling.
