SIMRAN is a French-Indian artist from Paris whose sound weaves together alternative pop, R&B, and neo-soul. Rooted in a multicultural upbringing and a sense of not fully belonging to one place, SIMRAN channels her diverse background into music that defies borders—blending genres, languages, and traditions. Her songs are raw and honest, shaped by real experiences and emotional truth.
SIMRAN draws her inspiration from a wide range of music, including traditional Indian sounds. A woman of her time, she is also influenced by R&B and alternative pop. She is a trained musician and technician, with instruments like the violin, piano, and saxophone being an integral part of her life.
Her latest release, “EX-TASY”, showcases her signature fusion—melding Indian and Middle Eastern instrumentation with lyrics in both English and French, creating a rich, immersive soundscape that’s entirely her own.
