Born and raised in West London, the 22 year-old singer-songwriter, producer and dancer is establishing herself as a significant Pop and R&B artist in the UK Music scene. The multi-talented artist dreams of being a worldwide superstar inspired by generations of all-rounded female talent such as Janet Jackson, Beyonce and Britney Spears.

Khasaia began her career from an early age - influenced by her father to sing, dance and write songs in genres of Pop, R&B and Gospel music. Today, the songstress merges these soundscapes with the authentic influence of her Indian heritage to create her own unique sound.

In 2022 Khasaia released her 2000s Pop and R&B influenced debut EP ‘Surround Sound’, setting a powerful foundation for her soundscape and image. The 5-track project received the co-signs of RnB Radar, Mimi The Music Blogger, and notable Producer of Britney Spears’ Blackout Album, ‘Danja’ - leading Khasaia to be invited to LA in 2023 under his team mentorship, and later collaborating on several unreleased records.

This year Khasaia shows outstanding promise to take up space in music after her incredible live debut at 229 London, and recently releasing her first single of the year ‘Star’ with a captivating self-choreographed visualiser showing the world who she is.

GET TO KNOW - completed May 2024
3 words to describe you:
Warm, Perfectionist, Creative

3 words to describe your music:
Fun, Sensual, Powerful

Describe the moment you knew that you wanted to pursue music:
I always knew from a young age, but the moment I was 100% sure it was what I wanted to do was when I was a teenager in secondary school and I was getting really good grades in everything but didn't truly enjoy anything that I was good at the same way I enjoyed making music.

How does your heritage impact your art?
It definitely influences my vocal riffs and runs, and often my chord or instrumental choices. I like to infuse my cultural sounds into my music with subtle yet significant impact, and hope to make those sounds more significant as my career progresses.

What moment are you most proud of in your music journey so far?
Going to LA to make music with other US producers under Danja's team.

Your next music/career goal:
To grow my audience and become a significant name in UK Music.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
Artist-wise I would say Tinashe, as she has inspired and motivated me to make music as an independent female artist. I also love that she dances (like me!) as I really admire artists who dance and are true performers.

Top 3 go to songs/artists:
Beyonce - Deja Vu
Britney Spears - Get Naked (I Got a Plan)
Rihanna - Hard

Words you live by:
Always be the hardest working person in the room.

I recently released my first single of the year, 'Star' with a visualiser, and I am due to release many more singles this summer!
