Supermann on da beat is a Scottish Disabled South Asian Music Producer bringing a blend of influences, across genres from hip-hop to metal and pop to create unique tracks without borders. Blending production from rock bands like Nirvana with artists like JID, Lil Peep, XXXTENTACION, Kanye West, Scarlxrd & Nas to bring a fresh perspective to the UK scene.

He's had a meteoric rise in Scotland’s hip-hop scene since teaching himself production skills by watching YouTube videos during the pandemic. His prodigious output has seen him collaborate with artists around the world including CHEF THE RAPPER, Kapil Seshasayee, Viv Latifa, Genesis Elijah, Grim Sickers, Mic Righteous, as well as US based KruddTheGuru & Rockie Fresh.

In 3 years Supermann has hit some huge milestones including; a headline DJ set, 120k + streams, 6X BBC Introducing (2X track of the week), radio play & becoming CCO of Hip Hop Scotland (Scotlands biggest Independent Hip Hop Promoter) - he's fast becoming one of the hottest producers around. In 2024, Supermann will be releasing regular singles & a debut solo project drawing on Spoken Word & Grunge.

Supermann is proud to show that anything is possible in a world with a complete under-representation of disabled artists & led a vital campaign to make venues fully accessible & appeared on BBC Scotland, STV, Daily Record & BBC Radio 4.

If it does, how does your heritage impact your art?
My Indian heritage definitely plays a part in my production especially from growing up hearing BBC Asian Network in the house. It especially comes through in my percussion with the tabla.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
Kendrick Lamar because he continues to motivate me every day with his music, vision & forward thinking mentality.

Your next career/music goal:
Produce for the biggest artists in the world, continue to break barriers for disabled artists & keep growing the local hip hop community in Scotland
