Asian Persuasion Takes Over AB Club for an Evening of Music, Comedy and Dance

On Friday 21 November, Asian Persuasion will take over AB Club (Ancienne Belgique) for an evening of music, dance, comedy and martial arts. Bringing together artists from Belgium, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, the platform celebrates the creativity, diversity and stories of the Asian diaspora.

A sonically charged, visually immersive space where innovative DJ sets collide with explosive live performances. Ancient rhythms synchronise with electronic beats. Authenticity meets experimentation.

When: 21st November 2026
Where: Ancienne Belgique (AB Club), Brussels (Belgium)

The programme features British comedian Ria Lina, known from Live at the Apollo, QI and Mock the Week. The daughter of a Filipino mother and a German father, she has become one of the most celebrated voices in British comedy.

Also taking the stage is Aqua Riyaz. The Belgian-Filipino artist first gained international attention with his viral audition of Billie Eilish's Lovely on The Voice Kids, which amassed more than 62 million views on YouTube. Today, he continues to build his own musical universe through dreamy soundscapes, cinematic production and emotional storytelling.

The line-up further includes the Indonesian-inspired indopop of Faradays, the dance and Kung Fu performance of Ro-Mí, and young dancers Elise Ngo & Emma Evasin.

Asian Persuasion brings together artists who each contribute, in their own way, to a richer and more nuanced representation of the Asian diaspora. What unites them is not one shared experience, but a shared drive to tell stories, challenge boundaries and take up space.
