ATEEZ by @siennalorraine
ATEEZ: From the moment the background screens changed and it was clear the set was about to begin, the audience went wild, the energy levels once again elevated. The acclaimed 8 member group entered the Great Oak Stage with a bang, delivering back to back of their biggest hits. The amalgamation of genres from pop to metal to EDM may seem chaotic if listening for the first time, but it's this unpredictability that heightens how engaging their music and performances are. BST's classic moment of when the day's darkness creeps in and it's lighters up came during 'Choose', where fans of all ages and backgrounds waved their light sticks (or lightiny for those down with ATEEZ lingo). The choreography was electric and the set astounding, you could have forgotten you were in the quaint setting of Hyde Park. The show once again proving the band's prowess for owning these big stages.
Conan Gray by A. Hazarika
Conan Gray: Joining Lewis Capaldi's tour by personal invitation, Conan delivered his set full of his bedroom pop hits to the slower ballads with ease and confidence. His deeply personal songwritting served as the perfect warm up for his legions of fans dressed in sailors hats. Through most of his set Conan can be seen jumping from left to right, throwing arms up in the air, encouraging fans to get involved and yet never missed a note. With his album 'Wishbone' landing Number 2 on the charts here in the UK on it's release, it's only a matter of time before we see the Californian perform a coveted headline spot here.
Taemin by Kakao Talk
TAEMIN: Amid the chanting that started as the artist entered the stage, the crowd geared up for a set of full of charisma and enigmatic dance routines. Commanding the stage, TAEMIN looked like he didn't break a sweat with pristine vocals alongside the choreography. The 8 song set included hits such as 'Sexy In The Air', 'Criminal' and 'IDEA' and unreleased '1004', providing a concise look at his versatility as an artist. TAEMIN proved that whether with solo or as part of his group SHINee, he is able to continue to lead within the K-POP world with vigour.
ALTÉGO by A. Hazarika
ALTÉGO: The DJ twins truly elevated the energy as they brought to the Rainbow Stage their TikTok known mash ups, blending well known hit after hit, with their Euro-Techo sound laced throughout. From start to end the brothers had people's hands up in the air, jumping along to them. It truly reenergised the crowd for the evening ahead.
RAIDEN: Becoming the first Korean DJ to play BST Hyde Park, RAIDEN marked the moment filling the stage with his Korean electronic blend. The audience found themselves dancing along to remixes of K-POP favourites and more. Joining the crowd to watch was Mingi from ATEEZ, which no doubt turned the level of hysteria up another few notches from an already bouncing set.
Stephan Mahendra by @bethanmillerco
Stephan Mahendra: Supporting Maroon 5 on The Birdcage stage, realising his 10 year dream of playing the Hyde Park festival - the artist expertly got the audience engaged with learning chorus' on music they were likely hearing for the first time. Showcasing his signature smooth soulful lyrics, the performance was a perfect kick off to the day ahead.
