Shakti Ghimire is a creative force who sits at the intersection of technology and storytelling. As a dedicated IT student and SEO specialist, he brings a disciplined, analytical mind to the digital landscape, yet it is his "creative curiosity" that truly defines his musical identity.
Deeply influenced by literature and documentaries, Shakti approaches his content with a narrative-driven perspective. His music isn't just about sound; it's about the journey, a reflection of his experiences as a trekker and a lifelong explorer. The endurance and resilience he has learned on the mountains and the football field translate directly into his artistic dedication.
Whether he is diving into a complex technical project or crafting a new story, Shakti thrives on collaboration and knowledge sharing. He is an engaging communicator who aims to connect with listeners through authenticity and shared human experiences.
My sound is a "digital trek." It’s an analytical, narrative-driven exploration where the discipline of technology meets the raw, soaring spirit of the mountains. I bridge the gap between technical precision and deep, human storytelling.
Describe the moment you knew that you wanted to pursue music:
It was during a solo trek at dusk. The silence of the peaks was so profound that I began to hear a melody that matched the rhythm of my own breathing. I realized then that music wasn't just sound—it was the only way to archive the "internal landscape" I experience as an explorer.
How does your heritage impact your art?
My heritage is the heartbeat of my work. Living at the intersection of traditional South Asian storytelling and modern digital innovation allows me to blend ancient emotional scales with modern textures. My recent work, like "Sudar Aba Dur Nai," draws heavily from Nepali Deuda folk elements, grounding my art in the soil I walk upon.
What moment are you most proud of in your music journey so far?
The release of "Sudar Aba Dur Nai." Seeing the technical structure I built as an IT student transform into a narrative that resonated with fellow explorers and listeners was a milestone. It proved that "creative curiosity" can bridge two very different worlds.
Your next music goal:
To release a visual-album concept that uses generative AI and SEO-driven narratives to tell the stories of unsung mountain explorers, further merging my technical expertise with musical composition.
If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
A.R. Rahman. His ability to maintain technical perfection while evoking deep spiritual and narrative resonance is the ultimate benchmark for my own journey between tech and art.
Tell us about a song that has shaped you:
"Kun Faya Kun" by A.R. Rahman.
This song taught me how a track can be a complete spiritual journey. It balances intricate vocal layering with a simple, profound narrative of "becoming," which mirrors my own process of constant exploration and self-discovery.

Your community shout out:
I want to shout out Nikhil Beats (@nikhilbeats). His genre-defying soundscapes and the way he reinterprets soulful R&B through an Asian-diaspora lens is incredibly inspiring. He shows that our heritage doesn't just inform our music—it evolves it.
Anything else you'd like to share:
I’m currently exploring the use of specific Nepali / Indian Classical structures in my upcoming projects to ground my digital sound.
