Dhee's entrancing delivery instantly captivates, carrying an emotional and engaging chorus across borders and into the heavens

On the precipice of a major global breakthrough, rapidly rising acclaimed Australian-Tamil singer, songwriter, performer, and artist Dhee unveils a brand new single entitled 'Vari Vari' out now.

The song shores up her position at the forefront of Tamil pop, extending the diaspora’s reach into the mainstream. Head-nodding handclaps hold the tempo as electric guitar chords ring out. The track translates the onset of new love into a sun-soaked anthem warmed by her spirit and soul.

This song is about someone or something that’s gone and isn’t around anymore, a feeling that is lost. The whole song is the search for yourself that you might’ve lost on the way and trying to get that feeling back.” - Dhee

Magnifying her international influence, H&M just selected Dhee as the face of its massive “Red Stage” campaign, uniting her with GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum R&B phenomenon GIVEON and rising star Absolutely. The new music initiative emphasizes the connection between fashion, sound, and self-expression by pairing established artists with buzzing talent to reinterpret hits. Dhee notably recharged and reinvented GIVEON’s smash “Like I Want You” by infusing it with Indian flavors. Thus far, the campaign has already incited the applause of WWD and more. “Vari Vari” follows the release of "Ancient Seed” with Wondagurl and Tiwa Savage and a feature on Ed Sheeran’s “Don’t Look Down” with Hanumankind.

Artist bio: Dhee has quietly shined as a history-making force of nature and one of India’s most impactful voices this century. Growing up in Sydney, Australia, she eventually relocated to Chennai, India. During 2014, she contributed “Naan Nee” to the Indian action drama film Madras. She picked up traction by cutting songs for other movies, including Irudhi Suttru [2016] and Kaala [2018]. However, she leveled up once again when she delivered “Rowdy Baby” for Maari 2 [2018]. The latter exploded as the “most-viewed Tamil music video of all-time,” tallying over 1.5 billion YouTube views and counting. 2021 saw her join forces with Santhosh Narayanan on “Enjoy Enjaami,” gathering over 52.5 million Spotify streams. With marquee spot on H&M’s “Red Stage” and her 2026 single “Vari Vari,” all signs point to a banner year for Dhee.
