nicole han is an LA-based pop singer-songwriter whose music is a sonic hug of dreamy nostalgia and raw vulnerability. Most of Nicole’s songs begin in the comfort of her bedroom, just her and her keyboard. She first fell in love with songwriting at around 7 years old, and has been writing the soundtrack of her life ever since. Nicole Han’s music has landed editorial playlists including New Music Friday (x4) and the covers of Next-Gen Singer Songwriters and Fresh Finds. In the past few years, Nicole has opened shows in Los Angeles for Maude Latour, Tiffany Day, Katherine Li, and Sundial. Nicole recently released singles "tornado" and "we never tried" and is excited to share more new music in the upcoming months. |

Describe your sound:
intimate singer-songwriter lyrics/vocals x big nostalgic pop production
Describe the moment you knew that you wanted to pursue music:
I was writing songs every day in my free time, and when I saw people connecting and relating to my originals on TikTok I thought, "why not release them in full?"
How does your heritage impact your art?
Embracing being Korean American has connected me with so many other talented AAPI musicians and allowed me to form a community through shared culture. Several artists that I've been able to open for have been AAPI artists, to no coincidence. I feel like there's an inherent sense of community which is so special, and inspires me to keep creating.
What moment are you most proud of in your music journey so far?
I don't think there's one particular moment, but more so the combination of everything I've been able to experience and the people I've been able to meet throughout the past few years! Releasing 2 EPs, opening for some of my favorite artists, writing alongside people whose work I've admired for years, getting to make music videos and develop my own creative... just some of the highlights! I don't think me 4 years ago would've expected any of it.

Open on a tour! + release another project...

Griff! She seems like a lovely person and she has an incredible pen. I love her songwriting and sound.
