US-born artist MUANH (Anna Anh), with a Vietnamese-German background and now based in Hamburg, began producing her own music in 2020 — drawing inspiration from artists such as Kate Bush and Dijon. Her songs combine intimate vocals with textured arrangements, carrying an emotional depth that shimmers like an old film flickering across the cinema screen. In fall 2025, MUANH will play her first support shows, followed by a headline show in Hamburg, before releasing her debut EP Hush in January 2026. |

Describe your sound:
A warm blanket; timeless, sensual, and immersive.
Describe the moment you knew that you wanted to pursue music:
Deep down when I was a four year old girl singing karaoke my heart will go on by Celine Dion at my grandparents house in Vietnam with the aunts and uncles cheering me up. On a more conscious level, during the pandemic when I started producing my own music on ableton in my student flat.
How does your heritage impact your art?
I’m pretty sure it was my mom who used to listen to Ngọc Lan in the car when I was a kid. I tend to carry that same feeling in my own art.
What moment are you most proud of in your music journey so far?
I can‘t pin it down to one moment. But I‘m always proud when I listen to the final mix of one of my songs which I either co-produced or produced. The feeling of realizing you‘ve created something that has the power to touch people is unmatched.

EP early next year.

Dijon and Oklou - i just admire their art and they inspire me :) it’s that simple
