There are just two weeks to go until Dialled In are set to close out the summer with two landmark shows. On 1 October, they make their Manchester return at the legendary Band on the Wall, followed by their debut at London’s world-renowned Barbican on 3 October.

Across both nights, three remarkable artists come together, masters of their instruments and innovators of their craft. Each weaves diasporic instrumentals, improvisation and captivating stage presence into performances that are rare and unforgettable.

These shows are not just concerts. They are a convergence of generations, geographies and sounds - a rare opportunity to experience South Asian artistry in full flight.

When: 1st October / 3rd October 2025
Where: Band on The Wall (Manchester, UK) / The Barbican (London, UK)

On the events, the Dialled In team share: “We’re thrilled to welcome back our close friends from Pakistan, joined this time by one of the most electrifying rising live acts from the UK festival scene, Amrit Kaur. Combining bold experimental live music with her visceral stage presence, this is easily one of the most exhilarating performances we've ever programmed. When it comes to curating standout live shows, we're proud to present live shows that consistently move the needle.”

Ustad Noor Bakhsh: A living legend of Baloch folk music. At 79, Ustad Noor Bakhsh has only recently been introduced to global audiences, yet he has already sold out the Southbank and enchanted listeners worldwide. His mastery of the benju - a stringed instrument unique to Balochistan - creates a sound that is radiant, raw and transcendent. With Daniyal Ahmed narrating the stories behind each piece, the performance is as much about history as it is about music.

Jaubi: The Lahore-based collective, whose blend of Hindustani classical, jazz and hip hop has redefined what spiritual jazz can mean today. Celebrated by Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and The Guardian, their acclaimed album, A Sound Heart, explores devotional and improvisational soundscapes. On stage, Jaubi bring these ideas to life with a set that is expansive, free-flowing and deeply moving.

Amrit Kaur: Singer, songwriter and accomplished sarangi player Amrit Kaur has become one of the UK’s most compelling new live acts. Blending Punjabi folk with contemporary soul and R&B, her performances are bold and spiritually rich. Having sold out the Jazz Cafe and shone on festival stages across the country, this Barbican and Band on the Wall double marks a significant new chapter in her rise.
