ROLE: Radio Producer, Exec & Director
Shreni is a radio producer, executive producer, and director at Solis Productions, a production company she founded after seven years of experience in the radio industry. Having started as a Junior Content Assistant, Shreni has worked her way up and now runs her own successful production company, securing two BBC commissions in the past year.
Her career in music radio began at Leeds Student Radio, where she presented and produced a range of shows, also serving as the Weekend Editor for the committee. After graduating, Shreni joined Bauer Media, where she produced the Birmingham Breakfast Show.
Shreni launched the BBC Introducing Show on the Asian Network in 2021, where she has played a crucial role in supporting British Asian artists, helping them break into the mainstream. Her support has extended to these artists’ live performances at iconic festivals like Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds.
She’s produced a variety of shows, including Radio 1 Future Artists, Radio 1’s Indie Show, and launching Asian Network Motivation and Asian Network Celebrates. Throughout her career, Shreni has collaborated with a wide range of presenters across different music and speech formats, further honing her versatility and expertise in radio production.
In the past year, Shreni took the next step in her career by founding Solis Productions. With a passion for nurturing talent and telling impactful stories, she has already secured two significant commissions from the BBC, marking an exciting new chapter in her professional journey.
