3 words to describe your music:
Warmth, soul, spice

Describe the moment you knew that you wanted to pursue music:
When I first sung on a stage, I was 5 years old and it was for a recital that my singing teacher ran. I remember loving the feeling of holding a mic and being able to sing over a track, it felt like I wasn’t thinking about anything but the present moment and I was somehow locked in with the essence of who I am.

How does your heritage impact your art?
In a subconscious way it affects everything from my visual aesthetic to my musical choices - in more conscious ways I’ve found that I collaborate best with other Indians as we have the same taste and are able to express our ideas so easily to each other and communicate vision so quickly. In my latest release the song was mixed by a fellow Malayalee Sam Varghese and visuals were also done by one of my friends Carlin John Stephenson (@carlinscamera) who is Indian too, it featured dancers who I had been following a while who came from a background of Indian dance (@hansimidance).

What moment are you most proud of in your music journey so far?
I played my first international music festival this year in Singapore (Music Matters).

Your next music/career goal:
Releasing 2 more songs this year and playing more festivals!

If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
I want to collaborate with more upcoming artists from my scene - we have so much talent here and it’s awesome to see everyone hustle and make themselves (and Australia) better known as a city of music by proxy.

Anything else you'd like to share:
My latest song is called The Garden, it was inspired by a time I spent an afternoon at the botanical gardens with a bunch of my friends and it’s my favourite song I've ever put out.
