The artist has been making music on and off for 3 years, but just started actually producing, engineering, and writing their own music within the last year and a half.

JITA is also one of the co-founders of a Multimedia Los Angeles based art collective called GUESTHOUSE ( @guesthouse.us). From music to cinematography and clothing, we hope to release as much as possible within the next few years.

3 words to describe you:
Inconsistent, Passionate and Inspired

3 words to describe your music:
Diverse, Cinematic, and Emotional

How does your heritage impact your art?
My father is from Ghana, (West Africa) and my mother from Punjab, India. I mix Afrobeats into my work a lot with influences in Reggaeton due to being raised near Los Angeles. I'm also pursuing more work in Hindi/Punjabi. I already have Punjabi and Afrobeats songs out currently, hope to make even more as time goes by and expand my discography.

Your next career/music goal:
Play live shows, I would love to get out of my comfort zone and build my stage presence.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
Weston Estate are definitely a big one for me, I started making music after they got signed to Arista and I watched them takeoff from 3,000 followers to 80k. They were also my first concert experience in 2022.

Top 3 go to songs/artists:
Caught in a Blue - Stephen Sanchez Wine - Rema Desires - AP Dhillon/Gurinder Gill

Words you live by:
What if it could turn out better than you imagined?

Anything else you'd like to share:
I am always making new stuff, but a fun fact is that I should have coordinated releases of more experimental music through my label/collective: GUESTHOUSE as well as my personal music under JITA in the coming months/year.
