DA1SY DØØM is an artist project curated by an international, anonymous collective, launching publicly mid 2023. Their music, art, and installation releases explore decentralization of power and the space in which light meets darkness. Its world builds upon absurdity and mystery, attempting to understand history and the cycles in human nature. Led by Mindy Song, a composer, singer-songwriter, producer, and performance artist. She draws from her disjointed worlds between classical music training in Southern California and her teen visits to house music clubs in Seoul, Korea. Her diverse interests in music intersects Western and Eastern instrumental music, rock, electronic, and ambient. Mindy Song was previously in the bands Night Dreamer and Wam Dingis. DA1SY DØØM's first release features a collaboration with Korean electronic-rock band Love X Stereo and Korean American indie artist Mindy Song in May 2023. Mindy's heritage and roots from the North of Korea impacts her art greatly in that she often draws from her family's experiences as inspiration and motivation.
